Welcome to my blog on City Planning
This blog is being created to go hand in hand with an applied technology research topic I will be doing in my course "Engineering Design and Drafting Technology" at Thompson Rivers University.
Through my research topic is to look at a block of Vancouver and applying the six principles of sustainable development to understand how to change our communities to become more sustainable.
This will be a work in progress throughout the remaining semester. If anyone has any advice to offer, ideas to suggest, or feedback to give, please do so, it will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Patrick D’Arcey

A good place to start for your Blog would be to explain what the six point method is so those who are unfamiliar can gain some insight.
ReplyDeleteWill you be applying the six point method to any particular city or part of a city?
Hey Pat, I noticed you were doing sustainability as well as Curt. Here is a book I referred to him.
ReplyDeleteIt has a bunch of different articles in it about "big picture visions" and "pactical details"
